For a book to be featured, the authors are required to pay a $255-300 &#8220;support fee.&#8221; I do not coordinate any book club or have ever solicited such fees. I can&#8217;t say if there&#8217;s another person named Emi Koyama who happened to live in Portland who happened to be LGBT+ and an avid reader, but my guess is that this is just a scam.
